This role involves designing substation protection and control projects for electric utilities, with voltages ranging from 12kV up to 500kV. The position offers exposure to how power generation, including renewable energy, connects to the electric system. Candidates will utilize their knowledge of digital logic design and AC/DC circuits for substation electrical projects. The role requires adherence to quality control, safe work practices, and maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget. The engineer will be part of a design team including engineers, designers, and CAD technicians, working with client standards to implement designs. The position offers a hybrid work schedule (4 days a week in the Houston, TX office) and a fast-paced, diverse work environment with flexible work hours.
