HII Platform Modernization (PM) trades teams provide expert solutions on shipboard alterations and installations for fleet modernization. The selected Senior Marine Electronics Technician (Master Tradesperson 4) candidate will support PM, working closely with our skilled trades teams, on Naval Vessels, utilizing various tools of the trades, removing, installing and upgrading industrial systems and equipment, assisting with alterations and installations for fleet modernization on various contracts. Selected candidate will be required to travel to shipyards and military bases located around the country and abroad, for durations up to 100% of the time when not assigned to a local task. Per Diem provided, based on location, when on travel. Travel and lodging expenses are covered by the company. This is a full-time, hourly position located in Pearl Harbor, HI. Weekend and/or overtime hours required depending on contract awards and support required as per trade/skill set. This role is contingent upon being awarded the contract.
