About The Position
As a Senior Subcontracts Specialist at Honeywell Aerospace, you will drive the procurement of materials and services, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and evaluate bids and proposals. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving subcontract issues and developing solutions. This role reports directly to the Director of Strategic Sourcing and offers a hybrid work schedule at our Tempe, AZ, Phoenix, AZ, Clearwater, FL, or Norcross, GA locations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of procurement/subcontracts administration, L&C, Supply Chain.
- Negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15)
- Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle
- Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Procurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industry
- Experience working with subcontractors during all phases of program lifecycle.
- Experience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.
- Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
- Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditions
- Ability to work independently
- Experience utilizing MS Office Suite, SAP, and other business tools used in the execution of subcontracts
