The Senior Study Abroad Specialist supports the Director for Career Engagement’s strategic vision for growing experiential learning opportunities across the campus community. This role provides leadership and oversight of all study abroad programs, including semester, yearlong, and short-term programs. It offers day-to-day guidance for study abroad staff and supports administrative processes for smooth and compliant program operations. Additionally, this role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and supporting short-term, faculty-led international programs that align with institutional goals for global engagement. The position serves as a key resource for faculty, guiding them through proposal, planning, risk management, and implementation processes to ensure high-quality academic and cultural experiences for students. By collaborating with campus stakeholders and international partners, the senior specialist enhances global learning opportunities and promotes access, inclusion, and academic integration in education abroad.
