About The Position

As a Senior Structural Engineer in our EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) team, you will design and analyze the foundation and structural systems for the data center, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards. Your role involves optimizing structural systems to support heavy equipment, analyzing both foundations and metal structures under various loads, and using engineering software to ensure the structures' reliability and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and the EPC team to align on project requirements, provide solutions, and recommend improvements, balancing structural integrity with cost and time constraints throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
7+ years in structural engineering, with a focus on foundation design and calculations.
Expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro, AutoCAD), load-bearing calculations, and design standards for concrete and metal structures.
Expertise in the analysis of metal structures under dynamic loading, fatigue, and thermal stress.
Experience with large scale commercial buildings (i.e. warehouses, manufacturing facilities etc)
Familiarity with geotechnical studies, foundation design techniques, and related regulations
Familiarity with IBC code and FM requirements
Experience in data center or energy facility design

Responsibilities

Design and analyze foundations for heavy equipment and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Conduct detailed structural analysis of metal structures (steel frameworks, beams, supports) to evaluate their performance under dynamic loads, stress, and environmental conditions.
Perform load-bearing capacity analysis and determine material specifications for both concrete and metal components.
Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across all project disciplines and optimize design solutions.
Collaborate with the EPC team to troubleshoot and resolve any structural issues during design and construction phases.
Prepare detailed engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications for all structural designs.
Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations for ensuring the structural integrity of the building during the construction phase.
Ensure that designs adhere to safety standards, quality control, and environmental regulations.
Monitor construction processes to ensure that structures are built in accordance with approved designs and specifications.
