The Position: Assess, model, and analyze complex steel, concrete, and timber structures on heavy civil projects in all phases of access, demolition, and construction Design falsework and formwork to relevant codes and standards Engineer temporary and permanent earth retention systems Develop critical lift and jacking plans required for safe operations Prepare relevant, clear drawings for use by fabricators and field operations within fast-paced construction timeframes In conjunction with Construction and Project Managers, solve engineering related project issues Review and update engineering standards for field operations and design Assist in responding to questions from contractors, public agencies and officials, or other stakeholders regarding policies, procedures, and practices Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field emphasis in Structural Engineering is preferred
• 6 - 15 years of work experience in Structural Engineering
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
• Knowledge of heavy civil and/or construction engineering theories and principles
• Prior experience working with computers and related software applications for analysis and design
• AutoCad knowledge is required, Civil 3D, Midas Civil, Risa 3D, Civiltech Shoring, and Civiltech AllPile are preferred

Responsibilities
