We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join the JETSII Contract! This is a part-time temporary role not to exceed 30 weeks The Senior Structural Engineer will: Provide support to NASA/ES to Review of Commercial Crew Stress Reports to support first flight NET Jan 2024 Review of components and subsystem hardware designs Prior Experience reviewing Structural verification plans and structural analysis for NASA spaceflight hardware Fracture Control experience for spaceflight hardware, understand of NASA fracture control requirements and implementation Review Structural Analysis Reports and create a spreadsheet database with comments and questions Meet with Sierra to resolve comments and questions as needed Perform other duties as required

Requirements

Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and may be expected to have a related master's or higher degree and normally possess 15+ years of related experience
BSME in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Nice To Haves

15+ years experience in NASA Spaceflight hardware structures and analysis

Responsibilities
