About The Position

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly capable, strategic, and proactive professional to serve as a Senior Strategy Cell Lead. This role provides senior-level advisory support, leveraging data-driven analysis to inform strategic decision-making, policy development, and operational execution. The Senior Strategy Cell Lead serves as a critical link between leadership intent and mission execution, ensuring initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities, compliance requirements, and industry best practices while enabling effective cross-functional collaboration. In this role, the Senior Strategy Cell Lead directly supports senior PAE leadership within the Strategy Cell, leading the development of organizational strategy, strategic plans, and long-range planning efforts. Responsibilities include identifying emerging trends, assessing organizational posture, and developing actionable options and recommendations to inform executive decision-making. This position plays a central role in shaping strategic direction, synchronizing efforts across the enterprise, and ensuring alignment between near-term actions and long-term objectives.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance
12+ years of experience in DoD strategic planning, policy development, or acquisition environments
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing organizational-level strategies
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing senior leaders
Prior experience supporting AFSPC, U.S. Space Force, OSD, or Joint Staff organizations
Familiarity with space systems acquisition strategy and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes
Completion of senior-level Professional Military Education (e.g., Air War College, Industrial College of the Armed Forces, or equivalent)
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of enterprise-level strategic plans, road maps, and long-range organizational objectives
Translate senior leadership intent into actionable strategies, frameworks, and executable initiatives
Coordinate with key stakeholders across DAF RCO, Space Systems Command (SSC), and OSD to ensure alignment of strategic direction
Develop and deliver strategic assessments, white papers, and executive-level decision briefs
Support war gaming activities, strategic reviews, and capability gap analyses to inform future force design and investment decisions
