We’re currently looking for a Senior Stormwater Engineer to join our growing team in our Pittsburgh office. Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in stormwater engineering, site grading, and drainage design.
Strong experience with stormwater management design and permitting processes.
Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience preparing hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and developing stormwater management solutions for a variety of project types.
Understand the technical and regulatory aspects of stormwater permitting, MS4 programs, and land development requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and review of stormwater management systems for municipal, commercial, and land development projects.
Prepare and oversee site grading, drainage, and stormwater management designs that balance regulatory compliance with practical constructability.
Manage stormwater permitting efforts and coordinate with local, state, and regulatory agencies throughout the approval process.
Develop hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support stormwater infrastructure design and watershed management solutions.
Prepare construction drawings, technical reports, calculations, and supporting documentation for stormwater and site development projects.
Conduct field investigations and site evaluations to assess existing drainage conditions and support project design development.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to deliver successful project outcomes.
Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance throughout project development and execution.
Apply sound engineering judgment to solve complex stormwater and drainage challenges while delivering practical, cost-effective solutions.
