About The Position

Fuscoe Engineering is seeking a Senior Stormwater Engineer I/II to support its Irvine office. The role supports land development projects and works with a collaborative Stormwater Team. The company is a 100% employee-owned civil engineering firm with services in Survey & Mapping, Stormwater Management & Water Quality, and Geospatial Technology.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year college or university and civil engineering design experience totaling three years, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of independently solving complex engineering problems within land development.
• EIT certification required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.
• Motivated, curious problem-solver who works well independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design the layout of storm drain and water quality systems in coordination with grading, street improvements, and underground facilities.
• Prepare hydrology, hydraulic, and water quality documentation and reports.
• Conduct water and sewer capacity assessments using appropriate hydraulic software and summarize findings in reports for CEQA and permit approvals.
• Assist the team leader with client and agency interactions and attend meetings and conference calls.
• Provide QA/QC and technical support for the WQMP Plan Check Process within the Stormwater Team.
