Requirements

  • Linux systems expertise (systemd, RHEL/Rocky, debugging)
  • Programming: C/C++, plus Go/Python/Bash
  • Storage: RAID, ZFS, XFS, ext4, block vs object storage
  • High Availability: Pacemaker/Corosync
  • Networking: TCP/IP, Ethernet, IB, RDMA/RoCE
  • Hardware: SAS, SCSI, NVMe, HBAs
  • APIs: REST/HTTPS, gRPC, Redfish/Swordfish
  • Containerization/Virtualization: Docker/Podman, KVM/VMware

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain distributed storage system software
  • Develop and enhance high-availability clustering solutions
  • Drive system integration across storage, networking, and OS layers
  • Debug complex issues across software, OS, networking, and hardware
  • Contribute to architecture and long-term system design
  • Develop automation and configuration management tooling
  • Integrate APIs and management interfaces
  • Support containerized and virtualized deployments
  • Mentor engineers and influence technical direction
