About The Position
The Senior Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Medford Medical Center is a full-time role with an evening schedule. The Tech-Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization, and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. Requirements
- Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
- Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
- Upon hire: National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
- 3 years Recent sterile processing experience.
- Experience using personal computer and basic software applications.
Responsibilities
- Effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization, and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation, and equipment are available for surgical cases and other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation.
