Requirements

  • Senior Stardog Database Administrator experience
  • Experience with SPARQL queries, semantic reasoning performance, indexing strategies, and large-scale graph workloads.
  • Experience managing RDF, OWL, RDFS, SHACL, and semantic data models.
  • Experience with data virtualization, graph integrations, and semantic interoperability initiatives.
  • Experience integrating Stardog with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Databricks, cloud storage platforms, APIs, and data integration technologies.
  • Experience developing automation scripts and operational procedures for deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and platform administration.
  • Experience with cloud-native deployments utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and related Azure services.
  • Experience monitoring platform health, performance, capacity, and operational metrics.
  • Experience with performance tuning and capacity management for graph database environments.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
  • Experience administering and supporting platform operations within Linux-based environments using command-line tools.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, monitor, upgrade, and maintain Stardog environments across development, test, and production.
  • Ensure knowledge graph platform availability, scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
  • Administer enterprise knowledge graph solutions supporting healthcare analytics, interoperability, benchmarking, quality reporting, and AI initiatives.
  • Develop and optimize SPARQL queries, semantic reasoning performance, indexing strategies, and large-scale graph workloads.
  • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Manage RDF, OWL, RDFS, SHACL, and semantic data models representing healthcare concepts, measures, entities, and relationships.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and data governance teams to design and maintain healthcare ontologies and semantic models.
  • Support data virtualization, graph integrations, and semantic interoperability initiatives.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Platform Engineering teams to support enterprise data platforms.
  • Integrate Stardog with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Databricks, cloud storage platforms, APIs, and data integration technologies.
  • Develop automation scripts and operational procedures for deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and platform administration.
  • Support cloud-native deployments utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and related Azure services.
  • Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and operational metrics.
  • Perform performance tuning and capacity management for graph database environments.
  • Support CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices where appropriate.
  • Administer and support platform operations within Linux-based environments using command-line tools.
