About The Position

We are seeking an Ultrasound System Engineer to engage in the design/development of our next generation Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) products that are helping to save lives around the world.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor in engineering, with a focus on developing complex systems.
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, integration, and testing.
Experience developing medical devices across the full product lifecycle.
BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to high-quality, compliant product development in regulated environments.
Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ultrasound imaging systems or ultrasound-based medical devices.
Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, and validate ultrasound imaging systems and subsystems.
Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, and clinical engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Develop and evaluate system architectures, signal processing performance, and overall system functionality.
Perform system-level testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Help translate marketing/customer requirements into engineering specifications.
Work with quality, regulatory, and clinical teams to balance security, safety, usability, and time-to-market.
