About The Position

This position is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, and hardware/software integration and verification. The individual will work with embedded SME to create architectures for embedded systems. The designs will need to be vetted with the use of Design Assurance Reviews by all relevant stakeholders. The individual will develop embedded software in C++ and embedded operating system in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git and Confluence. The individual will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle. Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
