Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems knowledge.
  • 2+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • 2+ years of relevant camera software experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leverages advanced knowledge and experience of Camera to design, develop, debug, implement, and verify critical camera software (e.g., Camera Image Signal Processor, 3A, Image Quality, Tuning Tools, etc.), algorithms, and features.
  • Designs or architects IQ modules, algorithms, and feature decompositions to drive highly complex requirements and specifications for both hardware and software.
  • Ensures advanced image quality, software conformance tests, and performance and power metrics are met to deliver critical camera software to customers.
  • Facilitates collaboration with customers, teams, and across organizations on the design, development, and optimization of camera systems, hardware, and/or software.
  • Writes detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for highly complex Camera SW projects to guide users and/or customers to use or implement software; reviews technical documentation for junior engineers.
