About The Position

We are looking for a Senior/Staff Product Manager with 5+ years of experience in enterprise software (DevOps, security, infrastructure, or data analytics). The ideal candidate will have deep customer-facing experience and the ability to bridge the gap between complex business problems and engineering execution. This role is for a 19-person seed-stage company where the Product Manager will operate as the first PM. Responsibilities include running tailored demos for technical buyers, managing post-sale relationships, and translating customer needs into actionable engineering briefs. Experience in regulated industries is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise software (DevOps, security, infrastructure, or data analytics).
• Deep customer-facing experience.
• Ability to bridge the gap between complex business problems and engineering execution.
• Experience operating as the first PM at a seed-stage company.
• Track record of running tailored demos for technical buyers.
• Experience managing post-sale relationships.
• Experience translating customer needs into actionable engineering briefs.
• Actively uses AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude) to prototype.
• Experience with highly customizable, per-customer-configurable enterprise products.
• Experience with products involving heavy integrations.
• SF-based or open to relocating to SF for a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Design and run customized enterprise demos that win deals by understanding customer workflows, evaluation criteria, and building compelling product presentations.
• Take ownership of the full lifecycle of enterprise customer engagements, from pre-sales discovery through post-sale expansion.
• Work closely with the CEO, CTO, engineering team, and actuarial consultants to translate customer needs into concrete product requirements and engineer briefs.
• Build prototypes using AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude) to validate ideas and demonstrate solutions quickly.
• Lead multiple concurrent enterprise engagements with different timelines, stakeholders, and technical complexity.
• Identify patterns across customer engagements and bring insights back to the engineering team to inform product roadmap and scalable solutions.
• Own hard product requirements including auth, RBAC, approval workflows, and data governance, bridging the gap between domain specialists and engineers.
