Senior / Staff Product Designer

Suger.ioVancouver, BC
CA$130,000 - CA$180,000Hybrid

About The Position

Suger helps B2B software companies sell through cloud marketplaces like AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, Alibaba, and Snowflake. Marketplace sales are operationally complex, involving pricing, contracting, billing, revenue recognition, and compliance across multiple cloud providers. Suger's API-first revenue platform simplifies these complexities for quote-to-cash and marketplace workflows. Launched in 2022, Suger serves over 250 B2B customers, including large enterprises and fast-growing startups. As a Series A company backed by prominent investors, Suger is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design for key platform areas, with a focus on AI-driven automation in revenue operations. This role involves designing customer interactions with complex enterprise workflows in pricing, contracting, billing, and compliance, where accuracy, trust, and explainability are paramount. The designer will collaborate with product, engineering, and GTM teams, as well as directly with customers, to transform operational challenges into intuitive and scalable product experiences. This position is ideal for a Product Designer who thrives in ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces, is excited by complex systems and enterprise UX, wants to shape the practical application of AI in customer workflows, can manage the design process from strategy to detailed execution, and is comfortable working with senior engineers and enterprise customers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, developer platforms, or enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle, from problem discovery and prototyping to production deployment, iteration, and monitoring - including products with complex backend or data dependencies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, customer-facing teams, and leadership to align on goals and execution.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to uncover underlying problems and opportunities, even when existing workflows appear to be functioning well.
  • Familiarity with APIs, data models, or technical product surfaces (you don’t need to code, but you can speak the language).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, sales operations, billing systems, or cloud marketplaces is a strong plus.
  • Experience working on AI-powered products, automation, APIs, or data-intensive systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end user journeys for AI-powered workflows and continuously iterate on the user experience, balancing customer impact, system reliability, and engineering complexity.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to gather qualitative and quantitative feedback on customer interaction with AI-driven features, occasionally supporting onboarding or troubleshooting to understand user behavior, edge cases, and trust concerns around automation.
  • Develop and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for intelligent systems that automate and optimize pricing, contracting, billing, and compliance workflows.
  • Design AI-driven automation experiences that balance speed with trust, transparency, and control.
  • Partner closely with engineering to test, validate, and ship AI-enabled products, ensuring correctness, transparency, and reliability in production environments.

Benefits

  • Base Pay Range: $130,000 - 180,000 CAD
  • Competitive compensation and equity plan.
  • Monthly office stipends for lunch and commute-related benefits.
  • Full healthcare benefits - extended health care, dental, vision, and life insurance.
