About The Position

Daily responsibilities include supporting the operation and maintenance of the UPW and IWN process systems. Participate as a member of the RODI operations team working with the SkyWater Technologies UPW System Owner to ensure accurate and complete operations deliverables. Daily interface with operation personnel and facilities engineers and other technicians to work in an operating factory. Troubleshooting of field devices and process equipment to clearly identify process out of spec conditions and assist in root cause analysis and recovery of system to in spec state of operation.

Requirements

  • High School or GED
  • 7-10 years of work experience (water plant)
  • Strong understanding of Ultra-Pure Water and Industrial Wastewater Systems and Operation.
  • Experience with all types of UPW instrumentation including Flow, Pressure, Temperature, Conductivity, Control Valves, etc. installation and application.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good technical writing skills.
  • Must be able to write work plans for scheduled maintenance work to be conducted without any unplanned impacts, i.e. rotating equipment, workarounds, and bringing systems back online.
  • Understanding of overall system installation from a process implementation standpoint.
  • Skills in system operation and maintenance for an Ultra-Pure Water System in a semiconductor factory.
  • Knowledge of UPW process and perform routine operations task(s) pertaining to the UPW / IWN equipment and systems using computer interface.
  • Facilities expertise in the following process phases: operation, maintenance, start up, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting of field devices and process equipment to clearly identify process out of spec conditions and assist in root cause analysis and recovery of system to in spec state of operation.
  • Performing maintenance activities on UPW and IWN equipment, test equipment, loading/unloading UPW resin, RO membranes, filters including installation and commissioning.
  • Writing work plans for scheduled maintenance work to be conducted without any unplanned impacts, i.e. rotating equipment, workarounds, and bringing systems back online.
