Nuro is seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in robotics and machine learning to join our Sensor Data and Calibration team. This role focuses on developing synthetic sensor simulation models and algorithms. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in researching, developing, and implementing machine learning techniques, such as NeRF or Gaussian splatting, for generating synthetic sensor data, including photorealistic images and realistic lidar and/or radar data. The position is structured as a Senior/Staff Individual Contributor with potential for growth into a Tech Lead/TLM role.
