About The Position

Dots is building global payments infrastructure for the future of work, moving about $1.5B a year to more than 1 million payees. Revenue grew 400%+ in the past year and the company reached profitability in 2025. Dots (Y Combinator S21) raised an $8.9M Series A led by DCM, bringing total funding to $14.8M+. It has offices in New York (8th Ave) and San Francisco (Mariposa St). Dots is looking for senior and staff engineers who take risks, iterate, and want a say in every decision. You will design and build scalable, production-ready systems that move money at high throughput, set a high bar, and help drive the company's vision to change how money moves.

Requirements

• 7+ years designing and building scalable, production-ready systems
• Experience with large data volumes and high-throughput backend design
• A track record of launching and iterating on apps or large software projects
• Comfort moving fast in an ambiguous environment

Nice To Haves

• FinTech or finance experience
• AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure experience
• Python and React at scale

Responsibilities
