About The Position

As a Senior Staff Engineer in our Quality & Excellence team, you will uncover the root causes behind every single error, drive transformational improvements, and implement forward-thinking solutions to ensure our products exceed the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with MIL standards and ensuring the highest quality in microelectronics.

Requirements

• Minimum BS degree in a related field. EE is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductors, microelectronics, or hybrid microcircuits.
• Excellent skills in communication, organization, and project management.
• Good planning, analysis, innovation, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with Military Electronics Standards, such as MIL-PRF-19500, MIL-STD-750, MIL-PRF-38535, MIL-STD-883, or AEC automotive standards.
• Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

• Product Deviation Management and process audits for microelectronics (MIL types).
• Responsible for Deviation Management to assure compliance to MIL standards.
• Assures NMR containment activity, material disposition, and corrective action (FRACA).
• Familiar with the use of failure analysis equipment and techniques and helps define course of analysis for failed components in order to reach failure root cause.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of manufacturing, screening, and conformance inspection activities; provide tactical support to manufacturing activities.
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving activities via 8D programs.
• Interface with factory and provide guidance on technical matters relating to product and process quality.
• Provide technical review for change management activity (TRB).
• Oversees First Articles and CSI (as needed).
• Conduct internal process and test method audits.
