Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field of study.
  • Ten (10) years of experience as Software Engineer, or related occupation.
  • Ten (10) years of experience with: Software Development within .NET framework.
  • Seven (7) years of experience with: Building the architecture and design of new and current systems.
  • Five (5) years of experience with: DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework; and Cloud Engineering.
  • Four (4) years of experience with: Azure Network; and Open source frameworks or one of the following: .net Core, asp.Net, Angular, or Express.
  • Three (3) years of experience with: People management or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and thought leadership to the Technology enterprise.
  • Collaborate with product managers, team members, customers and other engineering teams to solve our toughest problems.
  • Develop and execute technical software development strategy for .Net and other domains.
  • Hold accountability for the quality, usability, and performance of the solutions.
  • Utilize programming languages/databases and a variety of Azure tools and services across the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Act as a role model and mentor, help to coach and strengthen the technical expertise and know-how of our engineering and product community.
  • Influence and educate executives.
  • Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.
  • Analyze cost and forecast, incorporating them into business plans.
  • Determine and support resource requirements, evaluate operational processes, measure outcomes to ensure desired results, demonstrate adaptability and sponsor continuous learning.
