Key responsibilities in your new role Support Infineon’s methodologies & flow within the EDA design platform for advanced SoC design Focus on enabling a high-performance design environment Strong knowledge in the Digital domain: Verification, RTL, Constraint, UPF, P&R, and Physical Verification Ability to troubleshoot Soc design problems Contribute to the Improvement of the SoC Implementation methodology Knowledge and experience using industry-standard formats for timing and power constraints Support the SoC design team with design environment setup and product database management Develop CAD scripts and flows for the optimization of Synthesis, Floorplan, Place and Route, Functional verification, DFT, etc. Interfacing with EDA vendors to resolve tool issues related to design challenges Strong experience in Data Management Software such as Cliosoft, ICManage, etc… Strongly collaborate with SoC design teams in troubleshooting tools and design problems Extensive experience in Cadence SOC tool usage for advanced SOC design Assist in the tape-out process Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Knowledge of Industry EDA tools and semiconductor design techniques Proficiency in developing scripts using standard EDA scripting languages (Tcl, Skill, Perl, Python) Strong problem-solving skills with excellent debugging ability Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to operate in both centralized and distributed team environments 5-10 years of relevant experience, BSEE minimum requirement, MSEE preferred Strong teamwork, communication skills, and work ethics with the ability to address changes and issues with the design teams in a consistent and efficient manner Work with the Design Teams to ensure the integrity, completeness, and quality of solutions provided Understanding of and the ability to translate user requirements into comprehensive and valuable solutions As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
