Senior Staff DSP Engineer

SEAKR Engineering•Centennial, CO
•$180,000 - $230,000

About The Position

The Senior Staff DSP Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for defining and advancing Digital Signal Processing (DSP) solutions across complex programs and technical initiatives. The role provides strategic technical direction, leads resolution of highly complex engineering challenges, and helps establish DSP methodologies, architectures, and best practices across the organization. The engineer applies expert-level DSP knowledge—including RF communications, synchronization, and high-speed ADC and DAC systems—to translate advanced DSP concepts into practical hardware solutions. Responsibilities span algorithm prototyping and analysis, implementation tradeoffs, hardware validation, FPGA and/or ASIC design, architecture evaluation, and technical trade studies. The role provides technical leadership throughout the engineering lifecycle, from system architecture and requirements development through algorithm exploration, design reviews, implementation, integration, laboratory verification, troubleshooting, and delivery. The engineer influences DSP technical direction across multiple projects and programs, identifies technical risks and opportunities, advises engineering and organizational leadership, and mentors DSP engineers and other senior technical contributors. The position requires substantial technical independence and sound judgment, collaboration across teams and disciplines, and the ability to communicate complex technical matters to technical teams, customers, program leadership, and senior management.

Requirements
