About The Position

As a Data Scientist on Growth Monetization, you'll drive all things monetization from the data science perspective: how we price, package, convert, and retain. That spans our subscription business today and new business bets we're actively exploring, and your exact focus will evolve as those bets ramp. You'll shape how we grow revenue at Suno, and work very cross functionally across product, engineering, design, and the rest of the data science team.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years in data science or product analytics roles, ideally owning a revenue or growth surface
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical modeling
• Deep experimentation experience grounded in statistical rigor: designing and running experiments end to end, deriving clear insights, and making strategic recommendations
• Hands-on experience with monetization problems (conversion funnels, churn and retention, pricing and packaging, or the economics of a new product line)
• A broad data science toolkit and the judgment to pick the right tool for the right question
• Thrive in ambiguity, excited to wear multiple hats, and never stop learning
• Excellent cross-functional collaborator: can work closely with product, eng, and design, and influence stakeholders across the company through data

Nice To Haves

• Experience monetizing more than one kind of product: consumer and business, self-serve and sales-assisted, or subscription and usage-based
• Experience taking a new product or business line from zero to its first revenue
• Hands-on AI usage in day-to-day data science work (agents, prompting, building small tools)
• A love of music or creative tools

Responsibilities

• Drive all things monetization, from subscription conversion and churn to the revenue models for our newest business bets
• Design and run experiments across pricing, packaging, paywalls, offers, and other revenue surfaces
• Build the data foundation for new business lines from day one: the metrics, funnels, and unit economics for products that are just taking shape
• Sit on a centralized data science team but serve as the lead DS for your product area, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and design
• Advance our mission of making creative fulfillment a daily reality for everyone by building a business model that works for every kind of creator
• Contribute to building strong data foundations as part of our awesome data science team
