About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior/Staff Business Recruiter in Canada. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building high-performing G&A teams across functions such as Finance, Legal, Operations, and Go-to-Market. You will partner closely with hiring managers to design end-to-end recruiting strategies, source top-tier talent, and create structured, engaging interview processes. The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a collaborative approach, and a focus on delivering a best-in-class candidate experience while improving diversity and inclusion. Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, you will also contribute to recruiting operations, employer branding, and cross-functional projects. Requirements

  • 6+ years of recruiting experience, including at least 3 years in business recruiting for G&A functions such as Finance, Legal, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams.
  • Experience operating in high-growth or startup environments.
  • Strong expertise in sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, meetups, and other targeted channels.
  • Proven ability to design end-to-end interview processes and recruitment strategies.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience implementing initiatives to improve candidate pipelines.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Ashby, or equivalent).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to track key recruiting metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews and delivering offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop innovative recruiting strategies tailored to each role and team.
  • Lead initiatives to improve diversity and inclusion across business functions.
  • Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience, maintaining engagement and clear communication throughout the process.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics to provide transparency and insights to managers and the broader team.
  • Participate in recruiting events, cross-functional projects, and employer branding activities as needed.
  • Continuously refine recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and interview frameworks for efficiency and quality.
