This role is open to remote but preference will be given to candidates in the Orlando and Tampa areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in private company or public accounting with progressive scope and responsibilities
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, project management, client service, and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software, with a preference for QuickBooks
• Ability to embrace and learn new technology to solve client issues
• Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices
• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality while working with client data

Nice To Haves

• Creative Solutions & Fixed Assets software proficiency are a plus

Responsibilities

• Gather data for forensic accounting engagements
• Analyze information by developing spreadsheet reports
• Prepare adjusting journal entries, trial balance, and bank reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and set up Chart of Accounts and Vendors
• Handle payroll processing and transaction allocations
• Engage in client interaction and financial statement preparation
• Conduct tax preparation and other accounting responsibilities as needed
