About The Position

Maintains the accounting system for a multi-facility hospital entity. The Senior Staff Accountant prepares monthly financial statements and ensures they are materially correct. The role also ensures that accounting principles, concepts, and practices are applied appropriately and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The position requires familiarity with all accounting modules and their interfaces with the general ledger, including payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets, materials management, and billing/accounts receivable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, or 3 years of hospital accounting experience.
• Familiarity with accounting modules and their interfaces with the general ledger, including payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets, materials management, and billing/accounts receivable.

Responsibilities
