We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This hands-on role will work closely with the Controller, CFO and leadership team, providing exposure to all aspects of accounting and financial management. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
2–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a larger corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting theory.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

CPA or MBA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Support the month-end close and financial statement preparation.
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
Support external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and workpapers.
Contribute to the creation and monitoring of internal controls and accounting policies.
Assist in maintaining the general ledger, depreciation schedules, and bank reconciliations.
Assist with customer rebates and other reporting.
Prepare and submit various state and local tax filings.
Assist with transportation licensing and tax filing.
Assist with risk management and administration.
Provide backup support in transactional areas (A/R, A/P).
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
