About The Position
An established public accounting firm is looking to add an experienced Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to its team. This is a fully remote position and candidates may work from anywhere in the U.S.
Requirements
- 3+ years of public accounting or tax experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or active progress toward CPA license preferred
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and individual/business tax preparation
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Record and review adjusting journal entries
- Prepare individual and business tax returns
- Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Communicate directly with clients as needed
Benefits
