About The Position

The Senior Specialist serves as the team lead for Vendor Relations, providing operational oversight, mentorship, and support across all kit assembly and distribution activities. This role fills in for Specialists I–III as needed, ensures continuity of operations, and acts as the primary liaison between the team, supervisors, and cross-functional partners. The Senior Specialist also identifies opportunities for process improvements, quality assurance, and efficient inventory and distribution management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant associate degree with additional experience may be considered.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operational coordination, preferably in educational or healthcare settings.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with operational teams, including training and mentorship.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and inventory management platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to Specialists I–III, supporting training, mentorship, and professional development.
• Fill in for any Specialist role (I, II, or III) as required to maintain continuity of kit assembly, inventory, or distribution operations.
• Oversee operational workflows, ensuring adherence to SOPs and organizational standards across all kit handling processes.
• Monitor inventory levels and distribution schedules, coordinating with Specialists II and III to ensure timely and accurate delivery of kits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and internal departments, to address issues and streamline processes.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews for kits, vendor interactions, and operational documentation.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize vendor and internal team coordination.
• Prepare reports on operational performance, inventory status, and distribution metrics for supervisors and management.
