About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Senior Specialist – Mission Systems to join our Greenville, TX team. This position is responsible for Requirements, Development Support, and Integration of Operator Workstation capabilities multiple platforms and programs. Responsible for issue investigation and resolution. Responsible for submitting Bid and proposals. Responsible for documenting status and issues in Jira/Confluence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Demonstrated experience engaging internal/external stakeholders at all levels, including executive engagement.
• Demonstrated experience working through an entire build cycle.
• Demonstrated understanding of systems engineering life cycle.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required, ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance is a must.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience with IBM DOORS Requirements Management Tool.
• Demonstrated experience with JIRA/Confluence and the Agile process.
• Demonstrated experience with RedHat Linux or similar Linux tools.
• Demonstrated experience with RC-135 Operator Interfaces.
• Security+ Certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Requirements, Development Support, and Integration of Operator Workstation capabilities multiple platforms and programs.
• Responsible for issue investigation and resolution.
• Responsible for submitting Bid and proposals.
• Responsible for documenting status and issues in Jira/Confluence.
• Working with Operator Interfaces in a Systems or Software Engineering capacity.
• Write capability/product requirement specifications.
• Work with customer, system engineers and system architects to develop requirements.
• Test and troubleshoot Operator Interfaces on various platforms and programs.
• Provide communications to software developers to explain requirements and use cases when needed.
