The Senior Specialist, Store Solutions Delivery supports data-driven solutions across retail store environments, focusing on point-of-sale (POS) and self-checkout technologies. This role leverages analytics and AI-enabled tools to identify shrink risks, evaluate solution performance, and provide insights to business stakeholders. As an individual contributor, the Senior Specialist reviews transaction and event data, monitors key performance indicators, and contributes recommendations to improve detection models and system configurations. The role also manages analytics dashboards, supports deployment and optimization of self-checkout solutions, and collaborates with internal teams and vendors to improve performance and adoption of front-end technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, retail technology, or loss prevention analytics.
  • Experience working with retail POS systems and/or self-checkout environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting technology pilots or store technology deployments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with AI-driven or machine-learning-based solutions is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar data analysis tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide insights and recommendations that support business decisions and improvements to self-checkout solutions and store operations.
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of self-checkout technologies and loss prevention solutions deployed across retail locations.
  • Partner with internal teams including Loss Prevention, Store Operations, IT, Data Science, and Analytics to support deployment and enhancement of self-checkout solutions.
  • Collaborate with technology vendors providing AI, computer vision, or POS analytics solutions.
  • Support training and adoption of analytics platforms by developing documentation, best practices to help stakeholders understand system outputs, and key metrics.
