This is a 1st shift Material Project Manager Specialist Senior (MPM) position. The MPM will function as the point-of-contact between the Program Office, Functional Management, the Customer, supplier relationships, and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts to ensure successful resolutions of program issues. This role requires a senior professional with strong knowledge of project management, managing complex projects or processes with general oversight. The MPM will manage the material budget for assigned programs, provide accurate material forecasts, and conduct comprehensive business analysis of program material requirements, managing the impact on program EAC's for all material-related actions. Collaboration with Program Office, Functional Management, and other stakeholders is key to defining and assigning task requirements, estimating budgets and schedules, determining performance metrics, clarifying priorities, and developing management plans. The role involves interacting with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing personnel to ensure timely release of drawings and achievement of program schedules. Additionally, the MPM will review proposals and SOWs, establish status metrics, assist with make-buy decisions, follow up on open purchase orders, verify deliveries, resolve supplier issues, approve payments, and maintain records of material movement. Utilizing program management tools to monitor and report performance, and providing proposal support for MPM labor and material efforts are also essential functions.
