The Role: We are seeking a S enior Financial Analyst to join our team to help support site s in Danbury, CT, Billerica, MA, B edford , MA, Ambler, PA, Riegelwood, NC, and Toronto, Canada . The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial decision support for the assigned manufacturing plants and is a key business partner to Plant Management in the Materials Solutions ( M S ) Division.  The individual’s responsibilities are to assist in the maintenance of the p lant cost accounting processes and to provide operational/cost accounting analysis in support of plant operations. This position will report to the Plant Finance Lead . This position will be based in Danbury, CT, Bedford, MA, Ambler, PA, or Chester, PA. What You’ll Do : Analyze, understand and interpret financial results; provide insightful and actionable feedback/recommendations for management in identifying opportunities for improvement . Support m onthly/ a nnual f orecasting/ b udgeting; Ensure the plant financial forecasts and budgets are aligned with Operational, MS Division and Corporate goals; Support the e stablish ment of standard costing rates and partner with Operations to update material cost, BOM and routings for cost roll; Support and review proposed productivity projects; Review/explain manufacturing variances; Business/Operations d ecision s upport through analysis ; Provide timely plant results and drive accountability ; Complete month end close tasks ensuring that financial statements related to the Plant s are properly stated and conform to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including inventory valuations and reserve amounts ; Provide financial education/training and guidance to non-finance employees . Be a strong business partner for our manufacturing site, business unit and divisional leadership team members What We Seek : 3-5 years of related experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance ; Financial Modeling and analysis experience ; Cost accounting knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred ; Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal control concepts; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic global environment Proactive, future-looking, positive attitude Proficient SAP, Excel and PowerPoint skills; Business Objects and/or SAP BPC a plus Strong communication skills; ability to summarize and clearly communicate financial analysis to non-financial business partners Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement through identification, vetting, and tracking of improvement projects. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Financial Modeling and analysis experience
