About The Position

Unimacts is seeking a Plant Finance Manager to support manufacturing operations through strong financial partnership and operational insight. This role works closely with plant and operations leadership and requires hands-on experience in manufacturing environments. The position focuses on translating plant activity into financial insight, supporting decision-making, and maintaining strong financial discipline as the business scales.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Eight (8) or more years of experience in manufacturing finance or plant accounting roles
Experience partnering directly with operations or plant leadership
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, inventory, and margin drivers
Ability to operate independently in fast-moving, evolving environments
Hands-on experience with ERP systems in manufacturing settings (SAP, Oracle, MSD365 or similar)
Strong analytical judgment with the ability to connect financial data to operational reality

Responsibilities

Partner with plant and operations leadership to understand manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and operational performance
Serve as the finance point of contact for the plant, supporting day-to-day decisions with financial analysis
Develop and analyze product costing, inventory valuation, margin performance, and operational variances
Track plant performance against budget, forecast, and quoted margins, highlighting risks and opportunities
Support month-end close with an emphasis on accuracy, inventory integrity, and operational understanding
Maintain oversight of inventory, WIP, standard costs, and production accounting
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and governance requirements
Identify process improvements across finance and operations as the plant grows and changes
Prepare clear financial analysis and insights for plant and finance leadership
Other duties as assigned.
