Unimacts is seeking a Plant Finance Manager to support manufacturing operations through strong financial partnership and operational insight. This role works closely with plant and operations leadership and requires hands-on experience in manufacturing environments. The position focuses on translating plant activity into financial insight, supporting decision-making, and maintaining strong financial discipline as the business scales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience in manufacturing finance or plant accounting roles
  • Experience partnering directly with operations or plant leadership
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, inventory, and margin drivers
  • Ability to operate independently in fast-moving, evolving environments
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems in manufacturing settings (SAP, Oracle, MSD365 or similar)
  • Strong analytical judgment with the ability to connect financial data to operational reality

Responsibilities

  • Partner with plant and operations leadership to understand manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and operational performance
  • Serve as the finance point of contact for the plant, supporting day-to-day decisions with financial analysis
  • Develop and analyze product costing, inventory valuation, margin performance, and operational variances
  • Track plant performance against budget, forecast, and quoted margins, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Support month-end close with an emphasis on accuracy, inventory integrity, and operational understanding
  • Maintain oversight of inventory, WIP, standard costs, and production accounting
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and governance requirements
  • Identify process improvements across finance and operations as the plant grows and changes
  • Prepare clear financial analysis and insights for plant and finance leadership
  • Other duties as assigned.
