About The Position

The Role Entegris is one of the largest independent electronic materials suppliers in the world, with over 8,000 employees worldwide. Our products and solutions enable customers to create exciting semiconductor technologies for the future. Entegris’ Burnet, TX site, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our manufacturing plant with 286 employees. This position reports to the Manager, HR Business Partner and plays a key role in aligning the company’s Human Resources strategies to Entegris business goals. Responsibilities span the full scope of HR competencies, with a blend of both strategic responsibilities and day-to-day HR support.

Requirements

  • BA in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7+ years of Human Resources experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive working knowledge of employment laws.
  • Experience working in a multi-location, global organization.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.
  • Ability to innovate and willing to challenge the status quo.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish effective relationships, collaborate, lead, and influence.
  • Experience leading and supporting large change management initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven analytical capabilities that are actionable.
  • Knowledge of leave of absence requirements.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on projects and issues.
  • Effective project and time management skills with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a bias for action.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems; knowledge of ADP and Workday a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Translate strategic and tactical business plans into HR actions, programs, and initiatives.
  • Partner with manager and plant leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR Center of Excellence partners to roll out corporate initiatives locally.
  • Identify opportunities for HR continuous improvements and lead change initiatives.
  • Coach managers and supervisors on leadership best practices and guide them through complex employee issues.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Provide training and development to employees and leaders, developing training content and PowerPoint presentations as needed.
  • Facilitate change management processes during organizational transitions or process improvements.
  • Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, engagement) and provide actionable insights to solve business problems.
  • Provide direct support to leaders and employees on matters of varying complexity, including recruiting, new hire orientation, training and development, leaves of absence, performance management, payroll timekeeping, compensation, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks and transactions.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
