Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Contracts management in the aerospace, defense, or government verticals.
  • Experience managing business with external customers, including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, RFP review, and administration.
  • Experience handling pre-award and post-award activities end-to-end.

Nice To Haves

  • NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM).
  • Experience supporting international contracts.
  • Experience using contract management systems and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for RFP review and risk assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for assigned contracts/programs.
  • Serves as the primary communication conduit between L3Harris and the respective customers.
  • Provides proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements.
  • Analyzes material estimates, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Works with cross-functional team to prepare proposals and approvals.
  • Prepares and conducts negotiations.
  • Builds relationships and work in a team environment.
  • Champions change management process with internal and external team.
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations.
  • Presents information to broad audience, inclusive of management.
  • Multi-tasks and determine priorities while working on multiple assignments.
  • Negotiates contract terms and conditions with commercial, international and US Government customers.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability and willingness to travel, and work extended hours, as needed.
