About The Position

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Alternative Funds Lending to join our Credit Services Institutional Lending team. This role is located in New York, NY. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Support senior lenders in evaluating loan commitments primarily to unregulated Funds managed by Financial Sponsors. Lending commitments include Capital Call (Subscription Finance) Facilities, as well as other investment fund and general partner-related financing facilities. Participate in deal structuring, drafting term sheets, client discussions and reviewing credit documentation. Monitor existing credit portfolio; including investor exposure and concentrations, and loan reviews. Manage Limited Partner ratings and exposure reports on facilities, assist with ad-hoc reporting related to the portfolio. Lead specialty project related to financing facilities and technology enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 3+ years of total work experience, preferably related to Capital Call, Structured Finance; experience in risk analysis.
• Excellent credit analysis and financial modelling skills.
• Experience in reviewing, analyzing and negotiating credit documentation.
• Ability to communicate skillfully and effectively with involved stakeholders.
• Robust analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and attentiveness to detail.

• MBA is preferred.
