About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Spacecraft Vehicle Controller - Analyst (Level 4) to join their team in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This role involves researching, analyzing, and compiling technical data for company products and system-level concepts in projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle. The position applies systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to the design of system of systems, systems, and new product development. It also involves deriving and developing architectures, functional requirements, refinements, and product designs, and assisting in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks, and specialty engineering considerations into product definition. The role requires interfacing with project/program teams, management, sales and marketing, customers, and suppliers to meet objectives, performing technical planning and control, and maintaining/improving processes and software tools. Additionally, the Senior Spacecraft Vehicle Controller - Analyst will train and instruct others, work under general direction, and provide leadership and mentorship across program needs.

Requirements

  • This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Successful completion of a certification program (post start) Certification requires a combination of self-study and on-the-job (OJT) training
  • 3+ years of experience working with mission operations
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
