Hilton Anatole is currently seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team at SER Steak + Spirits! Located in the heart of Dallas, the Hilton Anatole offers a dynamic culinary environment for hospitality leaders who thrive on creativity and excellence. Located on the 27th floor, overseeing the Dallas skyline, SER Steak + Spirits is a modern American steakhouse known for its wood-fired steaks, locally sourced ingredients, and innovative menu. Requirements

  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably within a hotel environment
  • Strong foundation in steakhouse or upscale restaurant operations
  • Deep understanding of quality, consistency, and execution at scale
  • Natural leadership, confidently managing and developing teams
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and presentation
  • Creative mindset with the ability to contribute to menu development and elevate the guest experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding setting

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent execution of all menu items in a high-volume, upscale environment
  • Supervise, train, and develop culinary team members, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and teamwork
  • Lead by example on the line, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu development, recipe standardization, and seasonal updates
  • Visually inspect, select and use quality food and beverage products including, but not limited to, fruits, vegetables, meats, fish and spices
  • Monitor inventory levels, ordering, and product quality to control costs and minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
