We currently have two Senior Sourcing Lead opportunities available at nVent: Electrical & Electronic, Hardware, Hinges & Miscellaneous Metals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related degree.
• 5+ years experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Operations in a high growth environment is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Project management skills to develop plans with action steps and timetables, meet deadlines, coordinate cross functional teams, and handle multiple priorities.
• Excellence in analytical, fact-based problem solving.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances; must be able to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
• Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships at all levels both internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc.).
• Minimum 15% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier relationships within your assigned categories.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, delivery performance and supply chain resiliency.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic objectives.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and business needs to identify opportunities, mitigate risk, and improve total cost of ownership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain performance, responsiveness, and long-term competitiveness.
