The Senior Sound Designer blends artistic sensibility with a strong technical grasp of tools and techniques. The sound designer works with a multi-disciplinary team to create immersive sound fields that enhance and support the player experience. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with the entire production cycle for multiple video games, from preproduction to live operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of techniques related to sound (recording, mixing, integration, postproduction, foley, SFX, music).
  • Experience with adding sound to a visual medium.
  • Excellent knowledge of standard audio and game development tools.
  • Knowledge of mastering standards.
  • Excellent grasp of the relationship between SFX and music.
  • Portfolio demonstrating your work in sound design.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver high-quality audio for game sections in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure cohesive integration.
  • Create, implement, and maintain audio assets for characters, objects, and environments, including sound event integration with animations.
  • Design complex audio systems using Wwise and Unreal, ensuring seamless functionality and integration into gameplay.
  • Record and edit various audio elements, including sound effects and voice-over assets.
  • Test, validate, and refine in-game audio to deliver emotionally impactful player experiences.
  • Manage priorities effectively, contribute to meetings, and proactively suggest solutions throughout production.
