About The Position

Snyk is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineering Specialist to join their Solutions Architecture & SME team. This role supports go-to-market efforts by acting as a subject matter expert in Application Security testing (SAST, SCA, DAST, etc.) and/or agentic software development & building AI-native applications. The Solutions Architect will partner with pre-sales teams to define "big picture" solution architectures that align technical realities with business value realization strategies. This role bridges the gap between developer workflows and C-suite priorities, quantifying Snyk's ROI and establishing Snyk as a critical partner for global enterprises. The position also involves collaboration with post-sales and cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Enablement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Solutions Engineering or Solution Architect experience, including $1 million+ opportunities, with a track record of aligning technical solutions with complex business challenges.
  • At least some hands-on Software Development and Application Security experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate high-pressure security objections and build rapport with executive leadership.
  • A deep technical understanding of the software development lifecycle, cloud-native architectures, and modern DevOps ecosystems.
  • Direct experience with agentic software development and building AI-native applications.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams on key projects, creating alignment, rallying resources, and delighting stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Financial and Insurance organizations is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive deals and revenue by partnering with Account Executives & Solutions Engineers on large deals and addressing customer technical concerns through deep-dive sessions.
  • Work closely with sales leaders to drive revenue through new sales campaigns and remove deal-specific roadblocks.
  • Create "big picture" solution architecture that is grounded in technical realities and drives the conversation into Business Value Realization strategies, gaining customer stakeholder alignment and owning this into post-sales.
  • Act as a technical enabler by unblocking pre-sales and post-sales account teams behind the scenes and contributing to the global Solutions Engineering community of practice through mentorship and influence.
  • Influence product strategy by capturing, distilling, and prioritizing field feedback for the Product team, and building relationships with engineering and product teams to steer product direction.
  • Create and deliver compelling content and technical presentations on product positioning, differentiators, and best practices for Snykers, business partners, and customers, including speaking to large audiences both in-person and virtually.
