About The Position

Atlassian's DX Solutions Engineering Team is looking for a skilled Pre-Sales Senior Solutions Engineer to drive the growth of the DX product. This role involves serving as the solution expert throughout the sales cycle, focusing on solving complex business problems for Enterprise prospects using Atlassian's products and solutions to help close deals.

Requirements

Exposure to programming (Ruby/Rails preferred) with a solid understanding of APIs and RESTful services.
Experience with version control systems like Git and the GitHub CLI.
Familiarity with SQL.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and branching strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with extensive experience leading high-stakes client discussions and product demonstrations.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
Strong organizational skills to manage technical follow-ups and resource delivery across multiple active opportunities.

Responsibilities

Lead technical evaluations, including Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and Pilots, in partnership with Account Executives to demonstrate platform value and technical feasibility.
Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand client needs, engineering workflows, and goals.
Ask detailed questions to uncover information about clients' engineering processes, branching strategies, deployment workflows, and existing tooling.
Design and propose technical solutions for integrating company APIs with client workflows to meet evaluation success criteria.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on deployment methodologies and analytics integrations.
Capture and synthesize technical feedback from prospects to inform product enhancements and roadmap priorities in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
