About The Position

Aparavi is building the platform that helps companies turn unstructured data into usable knowledge for AI systems. We help enterprises discover, classify, and transform dark data across file systems, cloud storage, and applications into AI‑ready knowledge bases and automations that power the next generation of AI. The Senior Solutions Engineer is a technical, customer-facing leader who bridges discovery, solution design, and real-world deployment. You’ll sit at the intersection of enterprise infrastructure (on‑prem, cloud, hybrid), unstructured data at scale, pre‑sales engagement, and hands‑on proof‑of‑value (POV) execution. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and customers to ensure what we propose is technically sound, operationally realistic, and clearly valuable. This is not a slide‑only pre‑sales role and not a back‑office implementation role—you’ll guide the technical customer journey from first discovery call through early production success.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise environments, especially hybrid or on‑prem + cloud.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure: file systems/storage, Linux/Windows servers, at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and core networking (routing, firewalls, access controls).
• Familiarity with unstructured data, identity and access management, and security/compliance considerations.
• Comfortable leading deep technical conversations, whiteboarding architectures, and explaining complex topics in clear, business‑relevant terms.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with unstructured data, storage, data governance, regulated industries, AI readiness, or data/analytics pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise customers alongside Sales.
• Deeply understand customer environments (on‑prem, cloud, hybrid, security, compliance) and translate business problems (AI readiness, data governance, cost, risk) into architectures built on the Aparavi platform.
• Design and present architectures that use the Aparavi platform to scan, classify, and prepare unstructured data for AI, analytics, compliance, and migration.
• Run POVs end‑to‑end: install and configure the Aparavi platform in complex enterprise environments, integrate with customer infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and validate measurable outcomes.
• Deliver demos and technical presentations to engineers, security/compliance teams, and business stakeholders.
• Act as the technical voice of the customer internally, feeding real‑world insights back to Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
