About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Senior Solutions Delivery Specialist to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The role requires a blend of military aviation operational knowledge, analytical skills, technical troubleshooting, and customer support. The specialist will analyze complex operational and technical issues, identify root causes, develop solutions, and provide recommendations to stakeholders, working independently with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Apply military aviation mission-planning and flight-operations knowledge to evaluate system capabilities, operational workflows, and user-reported issues.
• Collaborate with Soldiers, government stakeholders, software developers, testers, systems engineers, and cross-functional Agile teams to develop, enhance, test, and evaluate new or existing capabilities.
• Translate user-reported operational problems into clear technical descriptions, reproducible steps, expected behavior, and supporting evidence for software-development and test teams.
• Support requirements analysis, technical reviews, test planning, simulator-based evaluation, regression testing, user acceptance activities, and defect resolution.
• Perform work primarily in a computer-based office or laboratory environment, including extended analysis using mission-planning systems and flight simulators.
• Supervises or collaborates with other team members performing technical efforts.
