About The Position

At OQC, we aren’t just theorising about the future; we’re building it. Born from a philosophy of bold innovation, we’ve successfully transitioned quantum computing from an academic dream into a commercial reality which includes OQC deploying the first quantum computer in the AI Data Centre in New York. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will bridge cutting-edge quantum technology and real-world application, working directly with customers to design, develop, and validate quantum solutions. You’ll play a critical role in accelerating adoption by demonstrating tangible value, shaping product direction, and translating complex problems into executable quantum use cases.

Requirements

  • Strong experience developing quantum algorithms and applications for real-world use cases
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant scientific or numerical computing libraries
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to work with customers or partners to define requirements and deliver solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computational thinking skills
  • Experience contributing to or publishing scientific research or technical findings
  • Advanced academic or industry experience in quantum computing or a closely related field (PhD or equivalent experience)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in quantum machine learning, optimisation, or hybrid quantum-classical systems
  • Background in distributed or high-performance computing environments
  • Experience in commercial software development or customer-facing technical roles
